everything is fine since i've started my new job here. people are nice here (my team) and i got certain freedom when i'm free (msn, facebook, emails, newsgroups, online games & shoppings etc). the only thing that i hate the most here is the lady who is in charge of the shipping issues (actually just deals with couriers instead of logistics matters) and certain admin issues (she just takes care of stationary and stuff like that). she is a 50-ish unmarried lady who wears presbyopic glasses which magnifies her eyes twice as big. she is HATEFUL!
she knows very little about how machine works. for example the very old version slow response photocopier/printer that we share in the company. i have to admit that she uses it more often than anyone else does in the office, but that doesn't mean no one uses it! she thought when she press Print on the computer, the copier will give her what she wants immediately. that's normal. but what's not normal is that she blames someone else for not getting what she has printed immediately. since old version copier takes time for data loading before printing, when more than 2 people press Print at the same times, the copier may look idle, not to mention when 2 or more people choose to print different format of doc from different tray with different size of papers. once it happens, the machine over loaded and became idle, the lady firstly panic, then screams "oh who the hell is so irresponsible to break the machine!???" pressed more buttons she thought she could fix it but only makes the copier take even more time to load "it's not responding! i can't imagine why people are so bad!!? how can I fix it now? it's totally not working!! *big sigh* who has used this machine before me??" she tuneed up her voice to let everyone know someone break the copier before her thus it's not her responsibility or she is asking for help or she is having hearing problem because of her age or whatever reasons...
i was sitting close to the copier, i can't help but to hear every word she said... because she was TOO LOUD... felt like she was blaming me and waiting for me to step up and admit that i was printing some abnormal document which made the copier overload and i will be fully responsible for fixing it. but I didn't! I even didn't open up a document file the whole morning! In my last job, I will certainly give a hand when the copier is not working, I will help replenish papers whenever I walk passed and found that the trays are empty. Now, I choose to ignore her and pretend I was working in full concentration so I didn't know what she's up to over the copier, because I know if I step up and help she'll think I do it out of guilty for making the machine not working.
