Being extremely amazed by the view there. And now I understand why people are still exploiting the nature when everyone is screaming that is suicidal to all the living organisms in the world... that's because nature is all they could have!! I was going back and forth Guilin by bus, which is a 9-hour trip... within that 9 hours all I can see are farmlands, trees and mountains!! Nothing more!! But what surprised me the most is that the people there seem very satisfied with everything, while back in HK people are always thinking about improvement and wanting to be someone else in the future. But the people back in mainland can work in a garage all their lives with no thought of trying to breakthrough to see how big the world is...
July 1 to 2 Alumni Homecoming Day
Went back to campus to have a good time. Feel soooooooo good to get back there!! Just realised how I miss everything there... dorm room... library... the cats... the classrooms... the lift... canteen... readings... and my sweet friends!! really want to get back to school once again... I love learning and studying... By the way we've went to the President's Lodge, it isn't as big as I thought but the decoration there is stunning! It's a lot different from Prof Starr's place (which is really huge with sea view but the decoration is...) And I took the above pic... oh... good old days...
