Who are my friends?

won't consider people who won't care about me as friends, especially those who just contact me about once a year around the time when THEIR birthdays are coming.

what does it mean? does it mean I need to celebrate your happiness and get you a present like worshipping something divine, that unless it's something big about you otherwise I'm not important or worth contacting at all, which is something I've to do all of my life otherwise I'll be burnt in hell after death? and regardless of how you ignore me like I'm a nobody around the corner in the rest of the days except the birthdays.
